CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University senior diver Keira Veltigian (Oxford, Mich.-Oxford) has been named the Mid-American Conference's Diver of the Week, the league office announced today, Nov. 4. The accolade is Veltigian's first career weekly award.
In last weekend's dual meet victory over MAC rival the University of Toledo, Oct. 28, Veltigian led the diving team taking the top spot in the 3-meter (250.88) and finishing second in the 1-meter (250.73). The senior continues the program's streak of great divers after former Eagle Bethany Berger won the same award in two consecutive weeks in 2021-22 and earned the honor three times in 2020-21.
