Raeven Chase Earns First Team All-MAC Honors

Chase earns All-MAC first team honors for the second time
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) -- Fifth year Raeven Chase (Toronto, Ont.-Michael Power St. Joseph Catholic) of the Eastern Michigan University volleyball program was the lone Eagle to be named to a team in the Mid-American Conference awards, announced by the league office, today, Nov. 19. The teams were decided by a vote of the league's 12 head coaches.
A three-time Academic All-MAC selection, this is Chase's second consecutive first team athletic distinction.
Overall, this is the fifth-straight season Eastern Michigan has had a volleyball student-athlete tabbed to the first team. Additionally, Chase is the 20th EMU player to receive the award, doing so twice.
Leading the Eagles in total blocks with 118, Chase finished third in the conference, and fourth in blocks per set with 1.17. The Toronto, Ontario, native also moved into fifth all-time in program history with 89 career solo blocks. Additionally, her 333 career block assists ranks sixth all-time in program history.
EMU finished the 2022 season with an overall record of 5-25.
