The Oct. 29 contest will begin at noon inside Rynearson Stadium

CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University football team's game against the University of Toledo, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29, will kick off at noon and will be aired nationally on ESPNU, the Mid-American Conference Office announced today, Oct. 17.

Earmarked as Eastern's annual Hall of Fame game, the University will celebrate the four newest inductees to the E-Club Athletic Hall of Fame during the contest. Full details on this year's class can be found by clicking here.

On the field, the Eagles will look to take down their border-state rival, Toledo, for the second straight season. Last season, Eastern Michigan fought back from a four-point halftime deficit to take down the Rockets, 52-49, in the Glass Bowl. It was the program's first win on the Rocket's home field since the 1999 season. Eastern Michigan has not beaten Toledo in consecutive contests since 1998-99, respectively.

The contest will also mark the 13th time that the program has been featured in a nationally-televised game on ESPNU since 2005. A win for the Green and White would be EMU's first on the network. EMU was most recently broadcast on ESPNU during the 2021 campaign when the Eagles faced Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Nov. 21.

Eastern returns to action this week against Ball State University. The game, set for Saturday, Oct. 22, will kick off at 2 p.m. ET from Muncie, Ind.
