WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior Cam Kellett (London, Ontario-Saint Thomas Aquinas-Nevada) and freshman Cooper Eberle (Richmond Ky.-Madison Central) are tied for 44th at eight-over 152 to lead the Eagles after the first day of the Purdue Invitational Monday, Oct. 10, on the par-72 Kampen Golf Course.
The seventh-ranked Tennessee's men's golf team shot 13-under for the day and leads after two rounds of play. The Volunteers' Bryce Lewis leads the 75-man field by five strokes after shooting 10-under on Monday. Lewis made 16 birdies in total Monday – six more than the next closest golfer.
