Baseball Announces Walk-On Tryouts

Head Coach Eric Roof encourages full-time students to participate
The Eastern Michigan University baseball team will conduct open tryouts for students wishing to walk-on to the program for the 2022 season.
Students interested in learning more about the tryouts are required to attend an informational meeting, Monday, Sept. 27, from 4:30 - 5:00 p.m. in the Eagles Nest, located on the third floor of the Convocation Center. The tryout date will be a week later on Monday, Oct. 4, at 4:30 p.m. at Oestrike Stadium.

- Bring proof of a medical physical by a physician within the last 6 months
- Bring proof of insurance
- Be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours at Eastern Michigan University
- Have a negative COVID test (within 72 hours of tryout date for a PCR test or within 48 hours of tryout date for an antigen/rapid test)
- Have started the vaccination process before the tryout date or be fully vaccinated (need proof of either)
