Football Set to Open Spring Practice March 17

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University football program returns to the turf for its first spring practice Wednesday, March 17, at 3 p.m. The session kicks off a string of 15 practice dates during a five-week period that culminates with the team's final practice Friday, April 16.
The final practice will be open to the public with more information and procedures to be made available as the date approaches.
During the spring practice period, the Eagles will be hitting the field three times per week. Depending on the weather, practices will take place on the gray turf inside Rynearson Stadium or the St. Joe's Sports Dome.
Below is a full schedule for this year's spring practices (times are subject to change):

OPPORTUNITY 3: Monday, March 22 - 3 p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 4: Wednesday, March 24 - 3 p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 5: Friday, March 26 - 3 p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 6: Monday, March 29- 3p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 7: Wednesday, March 31 - 3 p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 8: Friday, April 2 - 3 p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 9: Saturday, April 3 - 3 p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 10: Monday, April 5 - 3 p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 11: Wednesday, April 7 - 3p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 12: Friday, April 9 - 3 p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 13: Monday, April 12 - 3 p.m.
OPPORTUNITY 14: Wednesday, April 14- 3 p.m.

While the final practice of the spring camp will be open to the public, restrictions will apply. Prospective student-athletes should be advised that the current NCAA COVID-19 dead period will still be in effect at the time of the public practice. This protocol renders that no staff member, coach, or current student-athlete can make any form of contact (including virtually) that chooses to attend the practice.
EMUEagles.com, the official web site of Eastern Michigan Athletics, and the team's social media accounts, @EMUFB, will be providing coverage of the football program's spring practices with various practice reports and content posts.
With the season fast approaching, the EMU Ticket Office will soon be releasing information on 2021 ticket packages. EMU's schedule features six home games, with the first set to be played on Friday, Sept. 3, against Saint Francis (Pa).
