Save the Date: EMU Baseball Golf Outing

The program will also welcome back members of the 1970 NAIA National Championship team
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Mark your calendars! The Eastern Michigan baseball team announced its annual alumni reunion golf outing will take place May 15, 2021. The event will also serve as a celebration and reunion of the 1970 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Championship team.
The outing will take place Saturday, May 15, prior to Eastern Michigan's doubleheader against Northern Illinois. More details about the event will be released as they become available.
The 2020 season marked the 50th anniversary of EMU's NAIA National Championship, considered one of the very best teams to ever play, any sport, at Eastern Michigan. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person celebrations and reunions were postponed to 2021. A look back at the 1970 National Championship run can be found here.
