YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University baseball team and head coach Eric Roof announced a 2022 winter camp today, Dec. 8. EMU's baseball program will host a Development Camp from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on January 23, 2022  inside the St. Joe's Sports Dome.

This camp will give athletes the opportunity to get in front of and work side by side with the EMU coaching staff as well as current MLB Scouts. This will be a showcase-type setting where athletes will get the chance to showcase their speed, arm strength, and both their offensive and defensive skills. The EMU coaching staff will be available to give the athletes tips and pointers which will help take their game to the next level!

"It is the perfect time for our coaches to see your skills before spring and summer recruiting begins," said Roof.

The camp will run from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Registration is $150 for position players and $100 for pitchers. This camp is available to athletes who are in grades 7-12, as well as all junior college or prospective transfer student-athletes. The cost per athlete is $100 for a pitcher only and $150 for a position player/two-way player.
