The race was considered a scrimmage between the Eagles and Wolverines
BELLEVILLE, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University rowing novice program raced against the University of Michigan in a scrimmage today, Oct. 30, on Belleville Lake.
"Today was a good opportunity to test our speed and give us an idea of the training we need to do as we begin to transition indoors for the winter," Assistant Coach/Head Novice Coach Nicole Marek said. "We gained experience and learned a lot today doing side-by-side pieces with another team for the time."
The Eagles and Wolverines competed in four-minute pieces.
The Green and White will prep for the spring schedule in the erg room and weight room. Eastern Michigan will travel to the University of Alabama in March to begin the 2022 spring slate.
