Senior Spotlight: Zach Sudinsky, Men's Golf

EMU Athletics will recognize and share stories of the Class of 2020

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - A three-year member of the Eastern Michigan University men's golf team, Zach Sudinsky (McKinney, Texas-Boyd (Stephen F. Austin)) joined the Eagles from Stephen F. Austin State University prior to the start of his sophomore season. During his three-year career in the Green and White, Sudinsky played in 25 tournaments and averaged a score of 74.13. He also notched five career top-10 showings and 19 rounds of par-or-better as an Eagle. Aiding EMU to a 2019 Mid-American Conference championship, Sudinsky collected All-Tournament Team honors at the MAC Championship after taking fifth with a 145 (74-71).

During his senior season, Sudinsky played in six events, recording an average of 74.50 while also tallying six of rounds of par-or-better marks. At the Loyola Intercollegiate, had both the lowest 18 (66) and 54 (210) hole scores of his career with a tie for sixth. He finished with a 232 (81-77-74) at the Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational, and notched a 214 (69-74-71) at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational.

An Academic All-MAC selection and Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-America Scholar honoree, Sudinsky graduated in April with a degree in communications.
