EMU-WMU Set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+

The Dec. 5 contest will kick off at 2 p.m. ET from Kalamazoo, Mich.
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan-Western Michigan football game, scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5, will kickoff at 2 p.m. ET, the Mid-American Conference office confirmed today, Nov. 24. The game will be shown nationally on ESPN+. WEMU (89.1 FM) will provide audio coverage of the game from Waldo Stadium in Kalamazoo, Mich.
The Eagles and Broncos have met 55 times in their respective histories, with WMU leading the all-time series, 34-19-2. Eastern bested Western in the team's 2019 meeting in Ypsilanti, when quarterback Preston Hutchinson (Mason, Ohio-Mason) rallied the Eagles to a 34-29 come-from-behind victory.
ESPN+ is a direct-to-consumer (no cable or satellite subscription needed) streaming service that costs $5.99 per month. Fans subscribe to ESPN+ for just $5.99 a month (or $49.99 per year) through the ESPN App or ESPN.com. As part of the launch ESPN+ was integrated as part of a completely redesigned ESPN App (and also via ESPN.com). Subscribers will receive thousands of additional live events, and original shows and films, and an on-demand library, which is not available on ESPN's linear TV or digital networks. ESPN+ will not include access to stream ESPN's existing, linear networks (which will continue to be available via "TV Everywhere" authenticated streaming).
Listeners in eight counties can catch Eagles' games on WEMU (89.1 FM). As a public radio station with a large broad-based audience, WEMU's signal extends from Washtenaw County to the Detroit metropolitan and Toledo, Ohio markets. The broadcasts are also streamed live on WEMU.org, and WEMU's free Android and iPhone applications.
