Tennis Begins 2019-20 Campaign at Purdue Invite

The team plays Friday-Sunday, Sept. 20-22, in the Hoosier State
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team is set to open its 2019 fall campaign when it treks to the Hoosier State for the Purdue Invite, Friday-Sunday, Sept. 20-22.
EMU's first on-court action since the spring of 2018, this year's squad is comprised of two returning players, redshirt senior Marie Mayerova (Krmelin, Czech Republic) and redshirt sophomore Natalia Regalado (Alicante, Spain-IES Figueras Pacheco), along with five student-athletes who will don the Green and White for the first time.
Back for his second year at the helm of EMU tennis, Head Coach Jayson Wiseman brings a 16-10 overall record into the season. Most recently, he led the Eagles to the 2018 Mid-American Conference championships as the No. 5 overall seed.
