Tennis Announces Walk-On Tryout Date

The tryout will be held at the Chippewa Club, Friday, Oct. 4

YPSILANTI, MICH (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team will hold a walk-on tryout, Friday, Oct. 4, at 12 p.m. The tryout will take place at the Chippewa Club, a multi-use athletic facility located in Ypsilanti, off of Golfside road.

All full-time, female students that attend Eastern Michigan University are encouraged to try out. To be considered full-time, the student must be enrolled in 12 credit hours at the university. Students must also carry a 2.5-or-above GPA to be considered.

All whom are interested in participating should contact Head Coach Jayson Wiseman at Jwisema7@emich.edu to receive pre-tryout paperwork. All paperwork, as well as a physical form, must be submitted to Wiseman no later than 24 hours prior to the tryout date.

Players who are selected at this tryout will join the team for the remainder of this semester and will have a place on the 2019-2020 team.
