YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Season tickets for the 2019 Eastern Michigan University football season are now on sale to see the Eagles play on the gray turf inside "The Factory." Under the direction of sixth-year Head Coach Chris Creighton, Eastern has experienced a resurgence in posting bowl appearances in two of its last three seasons.
The "fan-friendly" schedule features four Saturday contests and one Friday tilt at Rynearson Stadium. Furthermore, EMU will play at home four-of-seven weekends between Sept. 21 and Nov. 2. In 2019, the Eagles will host Central Connecticut State, Ball State, Western Michigan, Buffalo, and Kent State.
The 2019 season will feature a year-long series of events, initiatives, and programming centered around fans, student-athletes, and the community. The celebration will salute the five decades of student-athletes that have played inside Rynearson Stadium, as well as, the more than 2.8 million fans who have passed through the turnstiles to watch one of the 252 home games in the venue. Furthermore, the College Football 150th Anniversary celebration will be recognized at all divisions of the collegiate game during the 2019 season.
EMU Athletics remains committed to being one of the best values in the region and has continued to refine the ticket pricing structure to make sure fans do not miss a minute of the 2019 home schedule.
The Rynearson Stadium gameday experience continues to be enhanced each season. EMU welcomed Chick-fil-A and Little Caesars Pizza to the concession stands in 2018, while this year the new Student-Athlete Performance Center in the north endzone will dramatically alter the stadium's appearance. Furthermore, the largest video board in a Mid-American Conference venue and a new sound system will help round of the in-game atmosphere.
Eastern Michigan continues to offer the Ultimate Fan Season Ticket Plan for just $150 ($30 per game). The premiere plan includes a padded chairback seat midfield in section 105. The Ultimate Fan section includes wider seats with armrests. Additional chairback seats will be available in sections 104-108 for $125 ($25 per game).
Fans can also order reserved non-chairback season tickets for $90 ($18 per game), EMU faculty and staff can secure non-chairback season tickets for $70 ($14 per game), and Young Alumni (35-and-under) can purchase season tickets for only $70 ($14 per game). Additionally, former EMU student-athletes can also purchase an E-Club membership for $150 that provides season tickets for home football, men's basketball, and women's game games.
The popular Family 4 Pack season ticket also continues to be a flexible option for families. The Family 4 Pack for sections 110-114 is available for only $160 which includes four general admission seats for each game.
Buying a season ticket is your best deal, as you will save 38 percent when compared to the single-game rate at the door. Single-game tickets and pricing will be available at a later date.
EMU students continue to gain free admission with a valid student ID.
For VIP parking, sign up for the EMU Athletics Suite or Loge level ticket packages, or the Ultimate Fan Plan, which each include access to the Convocation Center lots . Parking lots open three hours prior to kickoff of each home football game.
Parking for disabled patrons is available at the Convocation Center. A state issued handicapped pass is required. Courtesy shuttles will also be available to and from all designated parking lots with drop off locations at gate 1 or gate 2.
An updated football schedule will be released in June with kick times and a television schedule for the first three weeks of the regular season. All other game times and television selections will be announced 12 days prior to the scheduled game.
