Football Begins Bowl Week Festivities With Trip to Henry Ford Museum

DEARBORN, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University football team officially kicked off its 2019 Quick Lane Bowl festivities and schedule today, Dec. 23.
After a short practice in Ypsilanti, the squad traveled to Detroit, where it was met at the Westin Book-Cadillac hotel, its residence for the week, by team supporters, Detroit Lions cheerleaders, and dozens of community youth. Upon arrival, team members checked into their rooms, and attended security meetings.
Following the check in, the Eagles trekked to nearby Dearborn to visit the Henry Ford Museum, where it attended an informational seminar on the topic of life after football, enjoyed dinner in the main area of the museum, and spent time visiting the attractions.
