Tennis Travels to Cornhusker State for Three Matches

Eastern takes on South Dakota, Colorado State, and Nebraska this weekend
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University tennis team hits the road for the first time in dual season, heading west to take on the University of South Dakota Feb. 2, Colorado State University Feb. 3, and the University of Nebraska Feb. 4 at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center on campus at Nebraska.
This weekend marks a pair of first for the Eagles, as they'll take on South Dakota and Colorado State for the first time in program history. South Dakota comes into the weekend with a record of 2-2 in dual play, having lost two straight to Iowa State and Drake. Colorado State has started the season 1-2, losing at Colorado and Wisconsin, but most recently took down Milwaukee for its first win of the season. The Rams will take on Nebraska Friday, Feb. 2.
Eastern has done battle with Nebraska 10 times in program history, most recently in the 2017 spring season when the Huskers came away with a 6-1 victory. EMU is 0-10 all-time against Nebraska.
EMU begins play Friday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. against USD, and then take on CSU Saturday, Feb. 3 at 12 p.m. The weekend wraps up against Nebraska at 10 a.m. All matches will be played at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska.
