Tennis Returns to Action Versus Youngstown State

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University tennis team returns to competition for the start of its dual slate with a non-conference meet against Youngstown State University Friday, Jan. 26, inside the Chippewa Racquet Club.
This weekend's clash with the Penguins marks the third all-time meeting between EMU and YSU. Eastern Michigan owns a 2-0 record against Youngstown State, having most recently bested YSU, 5-2, March 7, 2014. After winning the doubles point, Eastern earned wins at No. 3, No. 4, No. 5, and No. 6 singles.
The Penguins travel to Ypsilanti looking for their first win of 2018 after dropping a pair of bouts against Pittsburgh (1-6) and Duquesne (2-5).
