YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The first of five Head Football Coach Chris Creighton Luncheons begins Wednesday, Aug. 31, at noon. The luncheons will be held at Washtenaw Golf Club located at 2955 Packard Road in Ypsilanti.
Cost to attend each luncheon is $15 and includes a buffet and beverages. For more information or to register, please call 734.487.1050 or visit EMUEagles.com/Luncheon.
In all, Eagle fans will have the opportunity to participate in five luncheons during the 2016 season. Luncheons will occur during home game weeks this season. However, no luncheon will be held during the final week of the season against Central Michigan University.
The third-year coach and a student-athlete will address the group and participate in a question and answer session during each event. The hour-long luncheons will be held on the following Wednesdays at Noon - Aug. 31, Sept. 21, Oct. 5, Oct. 26 and Nov. 16.
"All of us at the Washtenaw Golf Club are proud to once again partner with EMU Athletics," said Chris Chalmers, Washtenaw Golf Club's Director of Sales and Membership. "We look forward to hosting the coaches luncheons and having the opportunity to acquaint everyone with our amazing golf course, dining and banquet facilities."

The Eagles open the 2016 season under the lights at "The Factory" inside Rynearson Stadium Friday, Sept. 2, versus Mississippi Valley State.
