ESPN3 To Televise EMU-Ohio Game

Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Peden Stadium in Athens, Ohio

CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan-Ohio football game, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15, will kickoff at 2 p.m. and will be shown on ESPN3, the Mid-American Conference office announced today, Oct. 3. WEMU (89.1 FM) will provide audio coverage of the game.

This will be the 31st meeting between the two programs, with the Bobcats leading the series 18-11-1.  The teams last played in 2013 when Ohio prevailed 56-14, at Rynearson Stadium, Oct. 19.

With a 28-25 win at Bowling Green, the Green and White moved to 4-1 on the season, its best start since 1995, and 1-0 in league play. The MAC-opening victory marked the first for the Eagles since 2005.

The Eagles return home Saturday, Oct. 8, for the school's 96th Homecoming against the University of Toledo. Kickoff against the Rockets is set for 3 p.m. at "The Factory" inside Rynearson Stadium. For the complete list of homecoming events, visit emich.edu/homecoming.
