ESPNU To Televise EMU-LSU Game

Kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT) at Tiger Stadium
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUGameDay.com) -- The Eastern Michigan-Louisiana State football game, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3 will kick at 6 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPNU, it was announced by the league office today, Sept. 21.
LSU and EMU will be meeting for the first time.
The trip to Louisiana will be the 10th venture into the state of Louisiana for the Eastern Michigan football team. EMU made its first trip to the Pelican State, Nov. 4, 1967, which resulted in a 12-10 loss to Northeast Louisiana (now know as Louisiana-Monroe). The last time the Eagles flew to bayou was during the 2006 season when the Ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana-Lafayette spoiled the day with a 33-14 win over EMU, Sept. 30.
