Five Game Times Set For EMU Football

Eagles to Open Season Saturday, Sept. 5, vs. Old Dominion at "The Factory"

CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — Kickoff times and television arrangements for four of the Eastern Michigan University football team's 2015 home games have been set. The Mid-American Conference announced today, June 10, kick times and television for the first three weeks of the regular season and much of the midweek October and November games slated for national television distribution.
The Eagles will open their second season under Head Coach Chris Creighton in just 87 days with a 3 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 5, versus Old Dominion University on the gray turf inside "The Factory" at Rynearson Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
Eastern Michigan then opens its 40th MAC season at 3 p.m. on ESPN3 against Ball State University, Sept. 19. The game will be band day as well as a part of Hall of Fame weekend. A 3 p.m. start time was also established for the Eagles' 95th Annual Homecoming Celebration against the University of Akron, Oct. 10. However, the television partner airing the game has not been determined.
A Thursday, Oct. 29, contest "under the lights" then awaits EMU against in-state rival Western Michigan University. Scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on either CBS Sports Network or ESPN3, the nationally televised night game is the first in Ypsilanti since 2007.
The lone road tilt to have a time attached to it is at defending MAC Champion Northern Illinois University. The Saturday, Oct. 24, divisional battle will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. in DeKalb, Ill.
All remaining game kick times and television will be announced 12 days prior to the scheduled games.
Since the start of the 2008 campaign, Eastern Michigan has had 75 games either televised or streamed via the Internet. Thirty-five of those small-screen appearances have occurred on the ESPN-family of networks (22 ESPN3, 5 ESPN+, 5 ESPNU, 1 ESPN2, 1 SEC Network and 1 ABC).
Season tickets are now on sale for the six-game home slate which includes four contests against league foes.
