Trio of Women's Golfers Selected to 2015 Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced Tuesday, June 16, the 2015 Women's Golf Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 33 student-athletes were named to the team from this past season.
Bowling Green lead this year's team with seven selections. BGSU's Fran Rodriguez, Ohio's Julie Lechner and Western Michigan Kaitlyn Watkins were the only members on the squad with a 4.00.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
