EMU Athletics invites former cross country and track and field athletes to reunite in celebration of MAC Hall of Fame coach Bob Parks
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University cross country and track and field are marquee programs recognized nationally for their historic success. EMU Athletics plans to honor that legacy by inviting all former cross country and track and field student-athletes, their families and friends of the program to a reunion celebration at our home opening football game on Saturday, Sept. 5, versus Old Dominion University at "The Factory" at Rynearson Stadium.
Events for the celebration include a cross country meet at Eagle Crest the morning of the game, a "Dine and Dash" tailgate for all attendees, on-field recognition of the vast accomplishments of the program and the official dedication of adding Coach Bob Parks' name to the Olds-Marshall Track to become known as the Olds-Marshall-Parks Track.
