Lee was named to the third team, while Ward earned honorable mention honors
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University men's basketball team saw two of its student-athletes earn All-Mid-American Conference awards the league office announced, March 9. Raven Lee (Detroit, Mich.-Romulus) was named to the All-MAC Third Team, while Karrington Ward (Lockport, Ill.-Lockport Township (Moraine Valley C.C.)) earned honorable mention honors. The All-MAC teams are voted on by the league's head coaches.
Lee earned his first MAC postseason award after averaging the third-most points in the conference (16.4 ppg) while leading EMU in that category. The redshirt-sophomore guard posted nine games of 20-or-more points scored, to go along with two 30-plus point performances. Lee posted the eighth-best free throw percentage in the conference, knocking down 78.1 percent of his free throw attempts, and the 6-foot-3 combo guard was named MAC West Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 23.

The senior recorded seven double-doubles on the season, while scoring 20-or-more points in five games this season. The 6-foot-7 forward was named MAC West Player of the Week for the first time in his career, Feb. 16.
The Eagles begin their postseason schedule as the eighth seeded team in the MAC Men's Basketball Tournament Monday, March 9, when they host the No. nine seed, Miami University. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and is the second leg of a doubleheader at the Convocation Center.
