Eagles Head East for a Pair of Duals

The EMU women's tennis team is set to take on Pittsburgh and West Virginia this weekend
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team will continue the 2014-15 campaign on Saturday, Feb. 14, when it squares off with the University of Pittsburgh before traveling to Morgantown, W. Va. for a dual match with West Virginia University on Sunday, Feb. 15. The Eagles and Panthers will square off at 5 p.m. on Saturday before the Green and White takes on the Mountaineers at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
Eastern and Pittsburgh have met just once before. EMU defeated the Panthers, 9-0, during the 1997 campaign. The Eagles have seen the Mountaineers on three occasions, going 2-1 against the Mountaineers. In their last meeting, EMU was on the wrong end of a 5-2 decision in Morgantown back on March 16, 2012.
