Baseball Concludes Fall Season With Green-White Series

The team will go head-to-head in three intrasquad games
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University baseball team will conclude its 2015 fall schedule this week when it plays the annual Green-White Series.
The series is comprised of three scrimmages to be played Friday, Oct. 9, Monday, Oct. 12, and Saturday, Oct. 17. The games will take place at 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and noon, respectively, at Oestrike Stadium.
Two teams, comprised of EMU players, will be coached by assistant coach Eric Roof and volunteer assistant coach Mike Frank. The rosters were decided via a draft by the two coaches on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
Eastern Michigan baseball will enter its second season under the guidance of head coach Mark Van Ameyde in 2016. The team went 20-35 in his first season at the helm.
The Eagles will play a 56-game schedule in 2016 as the team will open up the regular season in the state of Florida, Feb. 19. The complete schedule will be released later this fall.
