Swimming and Diving Named to CSCAA Scholar All-American Teams List

Both men and women honored on the 2014 CSCAA Spring list
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Both the men's and women's teams of Eastern Michigan University's swimming and diving program were named to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) NCAA Division I Scholar All-American Teams supported by Nike Swim list for the Spring 2014 semester, as announced by the CSCAA on Wednesday, July 9.
The Spring Team Scholar All-America award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the semester/quarter coinciding with the NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA/CCCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
Both teams improved on their grade point average from the fall semester, as the EMU's women's squad increased a 3.32 GPA to a 3.39 GPA and the men's team went from a 3.19 GPA to a 3.22 GPA. Minnesota's women's team led all programs with a 3.86 GPA, while the highest grade point average for the men went to Yale with a 3.50 GPA. For the full release of teams honored, click here.
