Four Eagle Signees Play in Ohio-Michigan Border Classic All-Star Game

High school football game featured Michigan vs. Ohio Saturday, June 14

FINDLAY, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University football had four incoming freshmen showcasing their talents this weekend as a part of the inaugural Ohio-Michigan Border Classic All-Star game at Donnell Stadium, June 14. Ian Eriksen (Clarkston, Mich.-Clarkston), Chris Hendricks (Fruitport, Mich.-Fruitport), Kyle Rachwal (Lapeer, Mich.-Lapeer East) were part of the Michigan squad, while Dakota Tallman (LaGrange, Ohio-Elyria Catholic) was represented on the Ohio roster.

Michigan came away with the win, 27-14, after the team's offense found its groove in the second half.  All three of Michigan's touchdowns came on the ground, including Erikson running one in from 10 yards out to make the score 24-7 with 6:43 to play in the third.

EMU's four representatives between the two rosters were the second most on any school, trailing only Michigan State University with five.
