EMU Football Golf Outing Set for Saturday, June 7

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The 11th Annual Golf Outing to support the Eastern Michigan University football team will be held Saturday, June 7, at Eagle Crest Golf Club here in Ypsilanti.
"As a new coaching staff, we are excited to be a part of the 11th Annual EMU Football Golf Outing," mentioned EMU Head Football Coach Chris Creighton. "We hear that this has become a tremendous event, and we look forward to playing and socializing with you. This year's tournament will help support our first annual senior leadership trip prior to the 2014 season."
The cost for this year's golf outing is $150 for an individual golfer and $600 per foursome. In addition, a special rate of $100 is available for young EMU football alumni from the classes of 2010-14. Tickets for the dinner only portion of the event are just $25.
Dinner will include many contests and prizes, and there will also be a raffle and a silent auction for various EMU memorabilia. Registration for the tournament begins at 9 a.m. followed by a shotgun start four person scramble format event at 10 a.m. The post-round reception and dinner starts at approximately 3 p.m. For more information on the event or to register for the outing/dinner, please contact EMU Director of Football Operations Jake Kirkendall at 734.487.3420.
