EMU Spring Football Game to Kick Off Saturday, April 12, at 6 p.m.

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The annual spring game for the Eastern Michigan University football team is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, inside Rynearson Stadium. The offense and defense will take the field, earning points in a specialized scoring system. The event is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m.

Admission is free as gates open at 4 p.m. This will be EMU fans' first chance to get a peek at the Eagles under the direction of first-year Head Coach Chris Creighton.

"Spring ball is really the first chance for coaches to coach and for guys to get out there and start learning new systems, new schemes and to play the great game of football," noted Coach Creighton. "We are really excited about the direction our team is heading, and we cannot wait to get out on the field Saturday."

The E-Club will also have the E-Room open for the game beginning at 5 p.m. All former EMU letterwinners are welcome to stop by as snacks and beverages will be available.

Fans who cannot make it out to the stadium can still catch the spring game coverage on their computers through a stream exclusively on Eagle All-Access. Chad Bush and Greg Steiner will have interviews with the EMU coaching staff and administration. Fans should be aware this broadcast will not be a typical "gameday broadcast" as it will be interview-based with only select segments of the action on field being aired.

Additionally, SportsTalk from 1050AM WTKA will be on-site hosting a live broadcast, also starting at 5:45 p.m.
