Eagles earn spots on 2013 CSCAA Fall Honorees list

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been selected to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) NCAA Division I Scholar All American Teams list for the Fall 2013 semester. 

The Team Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams that have achieved a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  The award is presented twice annually, once in the fall semester and once in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (winter/spring). 

EMU's women's team boasted a 3.32 team GPA, while the men maintained an average of 3.19.  Yale University's men's squad had the highest GPA out of all Division I swimming and diving programs with a 3.62, followed by the women's team from the University of Alabama with a 3.60 GPA.  For the full release of teams honored, click here.
