Rowing Completes Race in Clemson

The Eagles earned a fourth-place finish in the Third Varsity 8 race
CLEMSON, S.C. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University rowing squad completed the Clemson Regatta Saturday, March 15 with a seventh-place finish in the First Varsity 8 race and fourth in the Third Varsity 8 race.
The first varsity eight squad, consisting of Sarah Hillegonds, Emily Kent, Steph Schlosser, KC Anderson, Lyndsey Tollas, Caitlyn Maguire, Taylor Cyr, Sidney Doss and Krista Burdick finished just five seconds behind Boston University's "B" squad for seventh place, crossing the line at 7:13.90 while Clemson 1V8 grabbed the win with a time of 6:32.30.
In the Eagles final race, the Green and White edged out Syracuse to finish fourth in the Third Varsity 8 race. The boat came in at 7:48.40, while Clemson again took the first-place finish with a time of 7:08.40. EMU's second varsity 8 boat carried Tauan Jeffrey, Ashley Gilmore, Autumn Little, Samantha Allen, Theodora Robinson-Jones, Stacy Cloutier, Emily Burks, Lilah McAllister and Lillian Britain-Auseth.
