EMU Heads to Lawrence For A Pair of Dual Matches

Eastern will take on both UMKC and Kansas this weekend

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team will be in action again this weekend, as they have a pair of dual meets slated in Lawrence, Kansas. EMU will take on the University of Missouri-Kansas City Saturday, Feb. 8, in a neutral site match, before taking on the University of Kansas at their home site Sunday, Feb. 9. Friday's matchup will begin at 3 p.m., while Eastern will take on the Jayhawks at 11 a.m. Sunday morning.
Friday's 3 p.m. tilt with the Kangaroos will be the first time the two programs have met, while it will be the second time Kansas and Eastern will square off on the court. In the first meeting between EMU and Kansas, the Eagles fell to the Jayhawks, 7-2, back on Feb. 7, 2000.
