EMU-Central Michigan Game to Kickoff at 1 p.m. on ESPN3

The Nov. 1 game is also Band Day at Rynearson Stadium
CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUGameDay.com) -- The Eastern Michigan-Central Michigan football game, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1, will kickoff at 1 p.m. and will be shown on ESPN3, the Mid-American Conference office announced today, Oct. 20. WEMU (89.1 FM) will provide audio coverage of the game.
The contest against the Chippewas is also Band Day at Rynearson Stadium, with numerous high school bands in attendance, performing as one during a special halftime concert.
The matchup also begins the Eagles' chase for the Michigan MAC Trophy, which is given to the Michigan MAC university that defeats the other two schools in the same sport in the same regular season. Created in 2005 by the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame, CMU currently holds the football trophy and Western Michigan has the basketball version.
Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan will be meeting on the gridiron for the 92nd time in history between the two programs with the Chippewas holding the series lead, 57-28-6.
