EMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Heather Lyke joins Twitter
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eagle fans now have a chance to see a different perspective inside the athletics offices of Eastern Michigan University.
Vice President and Director of Athletics Heather Lyke has launched a twitter account (@LykeEMUAD), which will give fans a chance to see a behind-the-scenes perspective of the daily operations of the EMU Department of Athletics along with Lyke's support for EMU's 21 varsity teams.
Lyke's, whose first day on the job is today (July 22), will provide tweets to followers, giving them an inside look at her pride, passion and commitment to Eastern Michigan.
Twitter is an online social networking service that enables its users to send and read text-based posts of up to 140 characters, known as "tweets". Those with Twitter accounts can sign up as a "follower" of any EMU team to receive live updates on a computer, cell phone or tablet.
