Eagles and Cardinals are meeting for the ninth time
Live Scoring.
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- The Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team will host the University of Louisville Friday, Feb 8, at 1 p.m. inside the Chippewa Racquet Club.
The Eagles will look to improve upon their 3-5 duel record after falling to No.71 DePaul, 6-1, last Saturday, Feb 2, despite a solid outing by freshman Klara Supejova, who is on a six-match winning streak. Things will not get any easier for the Green and White; the visiting Cardinals (5-1) are fresh off an upset victory over No.41 Minnesota.
The last time these two teams meet was March 25, 2012, at the University of Louisville's Bass-Rudd Courts. The Cardinals defeated the Eagles, 6-1, winning five of the six singles matches. EMU's No.1 doubles team of Miriam Westerink and Nino Mebuke were victorious, 8-4, over the Louisville duo of Amelia Harris and Gebrielle Duncan.
The Eagle's all time record versus Louisville stands at 1-7.
