Getting to Know an Eagle: Dori Harrison

Sophomore outside hitter, Dori Harrison, joins Eagle All-Access this week
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - Eastern Michigan University volleyball sophomore Dori Harrison (Euclid, Ohio-Beaumont School (South Florida)) is this week's guest on "Getting to Know an Eagle." Dori joins "Getting to Know an Eagle" for the Nov. 7th installment of the volleyball edition on Eagle All-Access. "Getting to Know an Eagle" is a series of weekly videos to give fans a more personal look at their favorite student-athletes.
Harrison is in her first season competing for the EMU volleyball team. She transferred to Eastern Michigan from the University of South Florida after one season with the Bulls. In her sophomore campaign with the Eagles, the Cleveland-area native has appeared in 25 sets, posting nearly a kill per frame, with 22. She averages 0.88 kills per set and posts 0.20 blocks per set.
Eastern hosts Western Michigan University and Northern Illinois University in the upcoming weekend, Nov. 8-9. The weekend will be the end of the Green and White's home schedule. Both matches are scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Convocation Center, with Saturday's contest againts NIU set to be a celebration of the 2013 senior class. Paige Roback (Maumee, Ohio-Notre Dame Academy) and Erin Short (Orrville, Ohio-Orrville) will each be recognized following their final home match of the season.
