MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (EMUEagles.com) — Head Coach Ryan Ray's Eastern Michigan University women's tennis team continued its impressive play here Saturday, Sept. 15, on the second day of the three-day University of Minnesota Gopher Invitational.
“We had some ups and downs today,” Ray explained. “Diana (Davitaia) and Klara (Supejova), our two newest additions, will square off in the top singles draw final tomorrow which is great for them. Klara and Mariya (Toncheva) will play for the doubles title tomorrow as well. For just a week of practice under our belt, we are off to a good start, and look to finish strong tomorrow.”
