Baseball to Host Annual Golf Outing, Sept. 30

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University Head Baseball Coach Jay Alexander announced Monday, July 23, that the team will host its annual golf outing Sunday, Sept. 30, on the Golden Fox Championship Course at the Fox Hills Golf Club in Plymouth, Mich. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start.
The format will be a four-person scramble and lunch will be served on the course. Following the outing, dinner will be served for all golfers inside the Fox Hills Club House. The outing costs just $400 per foursome, down $100 from last year's event. Individual pricing is also significantly more affordable this year, with EMU alumni who graduated in 2008 or later required to pay just $75 to participate. All other individual entrants pay $100.
Donations are also welcome and tee sponsorships cost $100. All proceeds will directly benefit the EMU baseball program.
The annual golf outing is part of EMU baseball's alumni weekend, which kicks off Saturday, Sept. 29, with the alumni baseball game at Oestrike Stadium.
