Marigna Named to the Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team had one member of its squad earn an Academic All-MAC award, while eight student-athletes earned honorable mention honors. ReJeana Marigna was the sole member make the Academic All-MAC team.

Marigna, a psychology major with a 3.21 grade point average, earned second team All-MAC honors and was a member of relay teams that won five races. Individually, she placed in the top-five in five different races, including a second place finish in the 100-meter dash at the 2012 Outdoor MAC Championships.

Cassie Coffman, Tiffany Kincaid, Tiara Oates, Rachel Quaintance, Angela Scarber, Brooke Sciullo, Ashley Wartley and Natalie Webb each garnered honorable mention awards.
