Wrestling Banquet Set for Friday, May 11

Cost is $20 per person. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., dinner served at 7 p.m.
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com)— The Eastern Michigan University wrestling team invites fans, friends and family to celebrate the accomplishments of the 2011-12 season and the careers of the squad's six graduating seniors at the annual year-end banquet Friday, May 11, inside the atrium of the Convocation Center. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Tickets cost just $20 per person.
The event will be highlighted by recognizing the squad's six seniors: Lester France, Justin Joseph, Andrew Novak, Matt Pettigrew, Corey Phillips and Wes Schroeder. There will also be a full-team awards ceremony to celebrate a successful 2011-12 campaign which saw the Eagles post a 14-6 overall record, a winning mark in conference matches for the first time in 20 seasons and four NCAA Championships qualifiers.
