YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Building off the success of the 2010-11 campaign, the Eastern Michigan University Department of Athletics announced a comprehensive basketball broadcast schedule, Tuesday, Nov. 8. The productions are a combined effort between the EMU Athletic Media Relations Office, WEMU (89.1 FM) and SIDEARM Sports.
Additionally, Eagle All-Access will video stream nearly every home men's and women's basketball game this winter.
Veteran broadcaster Chad Bush returns as the main voice of the Eagles on WEMU and will be joined by executive producer Jeff Fulton. Ryan Wooley joins the broadcast team for the calls on the Eagle All-Access games. Greg Steiner and a cavalcade of special guests will provide color commentary during the broadcasts.
Bush, who is in his fourth year of broadcasting EMU athletic events, spent three seasons as the play-by-play voice of Wayne State University Athletics. Wooley, who can be heard in the Detroit radio market on both WWJ and WXYT, rejoins the EMU broadcast crew for his second consecutive season behind the microphone.
In the spring, All-Access shifts to audio-only in its coverage of EMU baseball and softball. Currently, a minimum of 20 contests are slated to be broadcast with exact dates to follow later this winter.
Check EMUEagles.com for further updates as additional games may be added as the season progresses.
