EMU Opens MAC Tournament Against Kent State

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University baseball team will open play in the Mid-American Conference baseball tournament on Wednesday, May 26, against Kent State University.
First pitch is set for 4 p.m. at VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe, Ohio.
EMU will enter the eight-team, double-elimination tournament as the No. 7 seed. The Golden Flashes are the No. 2 seed. KSU took two out of three games against EMU in Ypsilanti, April 9-11.
Other first-round matchups in the conference tournament include No. 1 Central Michigan vs. No. 8 Ohio, No. 3 Toledo vs. No. 6 Miami and No. 4 Ball State vs. No. 5 Bowling Green.
Each of EMU's games in the tournament will be broadcast on Eagle All-Access. Fans can access the live broadcast by logging on to http://www.emueagles.com/showcase. A MAC baseball tournament subscription package is being offered for a discounted rate of $6.95 to allow fans to tune in for every EMU contest.
Chad Bush will provide the play-by-play with Greg Steiner and Dan Wyar serving as the analysts. The production is a combined effort between the EMU Media Relations Office and SIDEARM Sports.
