Gymnastics Hosts Green and White Meet Friday

Event open to the public starting at 7 p.m.
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team will hold an intrasquad meet Friday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. The event will be held at Bowen Field House and is free to the public.
The Eagles enter the season with 14 returning gymnasts and add six freshman to the lineup.
Coming of a 7-9 (2-4 MAC) season, the Green and White are looking to improve on their third place finish at the Mid-American Conference Championships.
EMU opens the season on the road traveling to DeKalb, Ill. to take on the Huskies of Northern Illinois University Sunday, Jan. 16 first event starting at 2 p.m. The Eagles then compete at the Redbird Quad Sunday, Jan. 23, followed by the season home opener versus Ball State University Saturday, Jan. 29.
