The EMU women are slated to host the University of Detroit Mercy at 6 p.m. followed by the men's matchup with Drake, a half hour after the conclusion of the women's contest.
EMU is coming off a tough five-game road swing that ended in a 75-60 loss at Idaho, Dec. 5, in the third and final game of the Basketball Travelers Invitational played in Moscow, Idaho.
Drake, meanwhile, is 2-4 on the year after a 78-67 loss at Colorado State, Dec. 1.
EMU VS. DRAKE: EMU and Drake will be meeting for the third time in the series with the Eagles holding a 2-0 edge. The other contest was played Nov. 15, 1997, in Bowen Field House and Eastern won, 86-58.
WELCOME BACK: The Eagles will be glad to see the inside of the Convocation Center after a tough five-game road swing that saw them go winless. Drake enters Wednesday's game with a 2-4 mark while the Titans of Detroit are 5-4 with a Dec. 8 date at Western Michigan on the horizon.
