Volleyball Falls Twice To Conclude Northern Colorado Classic

GREELEY, Colo. (EMUEagles.com) – Sophomore Ashley Mason reached double figures in assists and digs during Eastern Michigan University's matches on Saturday, but the Eagles came up short in each outing, falling, 3-0, to Northern Colorado in the day's first match and, 3-1, to North Dakota State in the night cap at the Northern Colorado Classic.

Jennifer Swartz and Jill Bates turned in double-digit kills with 12 and 11, respectively. Stein led the team in digs with 20 while Mason recorded another double-double with 35 assists and 15 digs.
Miami (Fla.) who defeated the Eagles Friday night, took the Northern Colorado Classic title after beating all three of their opponents over the weekend.
