Eagles play five contests during spring competition
YPSILANTI, Mich.- The Eastern Michigan University women's soccer team is slated to play five games during the spring portion of the 2009 schedule. The Eagles will play two games at the University of Michigan and three contests at Total Soccer Wixom.
The Eagles are coming off one of their most successful seasons in recent years, ending the 2008 campaign with a 13-5-5 (6-2-2 Mid-American Conference) record. EMU lost a heartbreaker to the University of Toledo in the MAC Championship match, finishing runner-up in the annual conference tournament. EMU lost only three seniors from last year's team and will welcome seven new additions for the fall season.
