EMU to Host Southeast Missouri in ESPNU BracketBuster Tilt

Eagles and RedHawks meet Saturday, Feb. 23
YPSILANTI, Mich. — The Eastern Michigan University men’s basketball team will host Southeast Missouri State University in the sixth annual O’Reilly’s Auto Parts ESPNU BracketBuster Saturday, Feb. 23, at 4 p.m. The game will be part of a doubleheader in the Convocation Center with the EMU women’s team hosting Mid-American Conference West Division rival Ball State at 2 p.m.
Southeast Missouri State is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference and the RedHawks are currently 12-12 overall and 7-7 in the OVC. The EMU-SEMO matchup will be the first men’s basketball game between the two schools. EMU and SEMO did meet in football, Sept. 14, 2002, in Ypsilanti and the Eagles recorded a 35-32 win.
Teams from the Mid-American Conference have posted a 10-12 record in ESPNU BracketBusters television games and a 51-53 record in non-televised BracketBusters contests and return games.
