Bowling Green’s Marco Samarco, the Mid-American Conference’s leading scorer, came down and was double teamed at the top of the three point line which pressured him to force an off-balance three-pointer which didn’t draw iron as time expired.

For the game, EMU only shot 39.5 percent from the field (17-of-43) but was solid at the free throw line hitting, 24-of-31 include 15-of-19 in the second half.
