EMU: 2006-07: Started in 28 of 32 games…Second on the team in scoring and 25th in the Mid-American Conference averaging 11.0 points-per-game shooting 37 percent (115-of-311) from the field…Scored in double figures 18 times…Top three-point shooter on the team, going 81-of-216 (37.5 percent) which also ranked 12th in the MAC…Ranked third all-time in EMU history with 81 three-pointers made in a season which also ranked fourth in the MAC (2.53 per game) and first in conference stats only with 44 (2.75 per game)…Named the MAC Conference West Division Player of the Week for the period ending Jan. 1 leading EMU to its first two-game win streak of the season…Scored a career-high 22 points with a career-best six three-pointers and seven field goals helping EMU to its first road win of the season in a 56-52 victory over Ball State (Jan. 13)…Went 5-of-6 from downtown with 15 points in EMU’s 51-48 MAC tourney win over Ball State (March 7)…His five three pointers was just one shy of tying EMU’s record for three pointers in a MAC tournament game held by Derrick Dial and Ellery Morgan with six…Tied for third on the team with 51 assists and tied for fourth with four blocks …Notched 58 rebounds with 28 steals...Led the team in scoring nine times...Shared the Grant Long Most Valuable Player Award on the EMU squad with Carlos Medlock.
COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons at Mott (Mich.) Community College...Enjoyed an outstanding 2005-06 campaign for Mott when he averaged 16.5 points and 5.0 rebounds while helping the team record a 26-5 record on the way to the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Conference title as well as the state NJCAA Division II title...Mott lost in the championship game of the NJCAA Region XII regional tournament...Was named first-team All-MCCAA All-Region Division II, was a first-team All-MCCAA All-Conference pick and a first-team All-MCCAA Eastern Conference selection.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from CMA in Detroit where he played basketball for head coach Kenneth Mayes...Named sixth-team All-State and honorable mention All-Public School League...Averaged 17.5 points, seven assists and six rebounds as a senior...Named his team’s Most Valuable Player and was also the team captain.
